The cooler weather and colorful leaves can only mean one thing…Oktoberfest! Belly up to a J.P. Licks’ counter for a taste of some great lager…dessert style.
J.P. Licks celebrates Oktoberfest with three new beer flavors made with Sam Adams beer! Not only is Sam Adams made in Boston, it’s Kosher, which is a key requirement for any ingredient used by the beloved homemade ice cream shop.
Stop by any of J.P. Licks’ eight shops throughout the month of October and try:
Black Lager ice cream, which has a great light flavor, and the taste of malt. J.P. Licks uses a hint of chocolate base to bring out the full flavor of the Sam Adams Black Lager beer.
Irish Red ice cream which is made with Sam Adams Irish Red and is a creamy, delicious brew with just a hint of butter and toffee flavor.
Cherry Wheat Sorbet flavor which is a light and refreshing sorbet made with Sam Adams cherry wheat beer.
Pints, quarts and tubs of Oktoberfest beer flavors are available.
Other “non-beer” featured flavors available during the month of October include: Noodle Kugel and Manishewitz sorbet (until Oct. 13th); Carrot Cake (beginning Oct. 13th); Pumpkin Custard; Butter Cashew; Chocolate M&M; Peanut Butter Ripple; Fresh Lemon Sorbet; Mango Sherbet; Oatmeal Cookie Lactose Free and Coffee Oreo Lowfat Yogurt. Top any ice cream off with colorful harvest sprinkles.
Coffee concoctions and specialty drinks this month include: Maple Spice Latte; Sour Apple Moolatta and Apple Cider.
